The Financial Advisory team provides independent valuation and financial modelling services to support strategic decision-making, financial reporting, transactions, and regulatory compliance. The scope includes conducting valuations, developing financial models, and delivering insights to enhance business planning, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), investment analysis, and risk assessment.
The process of valuing an entity or its assets is a complicated one. A specialized financial advisor can offer the expertise needed throughout the investment process.
Grant Thornton Egypt partners with organizations throughout the entire business deal lifecycle—assisting with strategy, risk assessment, deal execution, and unlocking growth potential to maximize value creation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Managers in carrying out a diverse range of Financial Advisory Services assignments for a multitude of clients (this includes but is not limited to: valuation, business modeling, financial feasibility studies, M&A advisory, financial due diligence, economic and market studies, etc.)
- Working on assignments that include lead advisory roles, corporate restructuring exercises, independent business reviews and client project resourcing.
- Providing high quality client service within set deadlines whilst operating in a commercially intelligent manner.
- Coach junior staff in a mix of technical valuations skills, industry knowledge and soft skills
- Liaison directly with client staff
- Collaborate with different functions within the firm to utilize cross-functional expertise
- Prioritize objectives and contribute to project planning and status reporting.
- Assist in creating and present insightful management presentations and valuation reports
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s in business administration, finance, accounting, economics or actuarial science with strong academic credentials.
- 3-5 years of experience in financial consulting (Financial Advisory/Corporate Finance) or equity research or Investment Banking/ Private Equity preferably in Corporate Finance Department with experience in areas such as business valuations, mergers & acquisitions, due diligence, financial modeling, and re-structuring, raising debt or equity.
- Excellent communication skills, highly articulate with good report writing and excel skills.
- Strong analytical, research skills, attention to details and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in both Arabic and English (reading, speaking, and writing)
- Professional qualification in completed or in progress (CFA or MBA or MSc, with emphasis on Finance).
- Applies financial analysis, business experience and market knowledge on assignments
